Lismara is situated on the Stanhope peninsula overlooking the National Park beaches, Covehead Lighthouse and Covehead Bay. It is a short 20 minute drive to Charlottetown & Charlottetown airport.
The property has beautiful water-views to the north and south while offering a short walk on a paved sidewalk to the beach, 18 hole premiere PEI golf course and access to many walking/biking trails.
Lismara is a 2800 sq ft luxury water view beach house, a place where you can relax and be spoiled by the surroundings and be treated to the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets the island has to offer. Enjoy fresh local seafood, dine at nearby restaurants at Dalvay by the Sea or The Dunes, and of course, try the famous lobster roll at Richards located across the bay on the neighbourhood wharf.
This beach house provides families an opportunity to create special vacation memories to cherish. Start your day sipping a coffee overlooking the ocean on the wrap-around veranda and/or end your day on the deck after a relaxing soak in the hot tub followed by a fire around the propane fire table.
Lismara offers 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and sleeps 10. The open concept main floor with great room, dining area and kitchen offers beautiful views of the sandy dunes and the famous Covehead lighthouse.
The kitchen is beautiful and bright, offering stainless steel appliances including a gas range, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge and separate wine/beverage fridge. A 10 foot kitchen island with bar stools encourages family and friends to gather for conversation, playing card games, or just hanging out. The dining area seats 9 and the cozy great room with a gas fireplace is a perfect spot for family and friends to relax. Also on the main floor is a double bedroom with amazing views and unique décor, a mud room for all your outerwear, a half-bath, laundry and pantry. The main level features a heat pump with A/C to keep you cool on hot summer days.
On the Second level, you will find a family / media room with 65” TV and audio/video components that will easily keep all members of the family entertained. Fibre internet, IP TV, and a Sonos music system wired throughout the house and exterior decks round out all of your entertainment needs. The Sonos system can be controlled by a mobile app, easily downloaded to your device.
There are three bedrooms on the second level. The primary bedroom has a king bed & luxurious ensuite bath with spacious custom shower and separate air jetted soaker tub, as well as a heat pump with A/C. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, walk-in closet, and access to the south-facing second floor deck (also accessible from the master bedroom). The deck is perfect for catching some sun, providing views of Covehead bay. Bedroom 3 is a large room with a queen bed and 2 single beds in their own alcove, perfect for kids. It also has a TV with a Wii game console and a heat pump with A/C (and back stairs to access the mudroom and first floor powder room). Each second floor bedroom has its own TV.
The back deck is an extension of the house with an outside shower (great to use after a day at the beach), hot tub, propane fire pit, gas/propane BBQ, dining table and plenty of lounging furniture to relax, watch the beautiful sunsets or gaze at the stars.
Lismara also offers various sizes of bikes, a ping pong table in the garage for evening tournaments or rainy day activities, boogie boards, beach toys, mats and chairs, a wagon to transport the “stuff “ to the beach, and plenty of beach towels.
